 identity\, racial justice\, trauma\, queerness\, police brutality\, and 
 most of all\, survival. Lauded by U.S. Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith as 
 “one of the most luminous and courageous voices\,” Jericho Brown also 
 authored Please (New Issues 2008)\, winner of the American Book Award\, and 
 New Testament (Copper Canyon 2014). His poems have appeared in The New York 
 Times\, The New Yorker\, and The Best American Poetry. Check out a library
