Cascada de Flores: The Treasure of Aquiles (All Ages) In-Person
Join Cascada de Flores, a musical group that performs re-imagined Mexican traditional songs for children and families. They will be performing "The Treasure of Aquiles": A bilingual, participatory and original story told with music, dance and you!
Aquiles, a boy whose pueblo is barren ofdance, music, and song, sets out on an adventure with his morral (a bag filled with his favorite things). Along the way, he learns to sing from a bee, rhythm from a horse, and to dance from a flea. Aquiles’ morral becomes his treasure: filled with story, song, games and dances which he shares with his pueblo. Come join the adventures of Aquiles! Sing, dance and play with Cascada de Flores.
