Sustainable Gardening with Urbanite

Sustainable Gardening with Urbanite In-Person

Speaker Julie Reynolds-Grabbe

Winter is a great time to plan and change the hardscape of your yard or garden. You can save money and water, reduce waste, create wildlife habitat, and enhance the beauty and functionality of your garden with recycled materials. In this presentation, UC Master Gardener Julie Reynolds-Grabbe will explain the unexpected use and beauty of recycled concrete chunks, called urbanite, to make raised beds, patios, retaining walls, walkways, rain gardens, raised beds and more.
