CANCELLED--Crafty Book Club (Ages 10-13) In-Person
Due to low registration, this event has been cancelled.
Join us for a Crafty Book Club for tweens ages 10-13! In this book club, we will discuss the book, Planet Earth Is Blue by Nicole Panteleakos. After our discussion, we will do an artsy activity to bring it all together. Tweens, join us for a fun, lively, and artsy book club where we can not only learn more about the world through books, but also exercise our conversational and artistic skills.
About the book: "Autistic and nearly nonverbal, twelve-year-old Nova is happy in her new foster home and school, but eagerly anticipates the 1986 Challenger launch, for which her sister, Bridget, promised to return."
Registration opens 3 weeks prior to the event.
Please note that your child must read at least part of the book in order to participate in the discussion.
