Banned Books Week
At Los Gatos Library, we believe:
- Books are tools for understanding complex issues, at any age.
- Everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in a library’s books.
- Individuals should be trusted to make their own decisions about what to read.
Join us in celebrating your freedom to read! This week, come by the Library and take part in one of our Banned Books Week activities. You can add a leaf to the tree in our Lobby, send a postcard to your local representative, listen to a special episode of the Page Turner (our library podcast), see what our Teen Room would look like without censored books, or check out a banned or challenged book from our collection.
