Composting Basics In-Person
Reduce your carbon footprint and recycle your waste by composting your organic waste at home! This free workshop is taught by trained Master Composters and will teach you how to compost at home. The class will focus on backyard composting of yard trimmings and food scraps and will also cover composting with worms. Then learn about applying your compost to your garden or house plants for healthy soil and happy plants. This workshop is brought to you by the University of California Cooperative Extension and the Santa Clara County Recycling and Waste Reduction Commission.
Composting bins will be available for the first 20 attendees of this program.
