Tarps & Strings - A Community Film Screening In-Person
In partnership wtih AWỌ and in honor of United Against Hate Week, we are hosting a screening of Tarps and Strings.
From the filmmaker: Tarps and Strings uncovers the unspoken rules and invisible barriers that further marginalize individuals experiencing homelessness. We expose the unique challenges faced by women within this community, inviting viewers to confront the intersectionality of gender, poverty, and discrimination. And, Tarps and Strings does not leave us hopeless. This documentary sparks conversations about potential solutions. We feature inspiring stories of resilience and the tireless efforts of individuals and organizations dedicated to creating lasting change. Let empathy and compassion guide us toward a future where everyone has a place to call home.
