Cookbook Club In-Person
July's theme is spicy!
Each month we have a theme that you are free you are free to interpret however you'd like. Choose a recipe to make from one of the many cookbooks or other resources in our collection- don't worry, we'll have plenty of suggestions for you! Then we'll meet to talk about books and cooking and enjoy each other's company. Photos of your finished dish are encouraged but not required.
Let's see for ourselves if eating spicy foods makes us feel cooler! Don't worry if you're not a fan of hot and spicy food- you can make something that's got a lot of spices in it- any interpretation of "spicy" works (even if it's a spicy hot cooking take, like whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza). Browse our incredible cookbook collection in the library, our ebooks on CloudLibrary, or our online resource AtoZ World Food, find something that looks interesting to you, and cook! Come to our meeting ready to talk all about what you made and the book you used.
